About this policy

This policy describes how Search Cells on Google v2.5.9 and its official website handle information. This is a pre-launch draft and should be finalized after the operator’s details and hosting configuration are confirmed.

Information used by the extension

  • Selected cell values: Used to create search queries. The query is passed to Google Search when a results URL is opened.
  • Settings and templates: Stored with Chrome storage. Synced settings may be synchronized across Chrome sessions through your Google account.
  • Search progress and Free usage: Saved locally to resume searches and manage daily limits.
  • Pro subscription data: When Pro launches, license keys, usage counts, and request identifiers will be processed by the license/usage service.

Spreadsheet values, search queries, and Sheet URLs are not sent to the Pro license/usage service by design. Queries are sent to Google Search to display results.

Payments

Stripe is planned for future Pro subscriptions. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, not stored in the extension. Pro purchases are not currently available.

This website

The site is statically generated and does not include custom analytics or advertising trackers by default. Its hosting provider (such as Cloudflare) may process routine access logs and security-related information. If you send an email, the recipient processes the message to respond.

Third-party services

Google Sheets, Google Search, Chrome, Cloudflare, and Stripe (once enabled) may process information under their respective policies when you use these services.

Contact

For questions about data practices, visit the support page. A support address will be configured before public launch.

Changes

This policy may change as the service evolves. The latest version will be posted here.
